Join the KuShed community
Becoming a KuShed member gives you access to a fully equipped workshop, a welcoming community of like-minded blokes, and the satisfaction of contributing to something worthwhile. Here’s everything you need to know.
1. Visit
Come down on any open day and speak to a Coordinator. No commitment needed — just come and have a look.
2. Apply
The Coordinator will give you an Information Sheet and Application Form. Complete it and bring it back to the Shed.
3. Get Approved
Your application goes to the Committee. You’ll be notified of acceptance, usually within a week.
4. Pay & Start
Annual subscription is $75, due 1 July each year. A $3 contribution per visit covers consumables and morning tea.
Using the Workshop
Materials for community projects are provided free. For personal projects, members supply their own materials. If you’d like to use shed resources, discuss it with the Coordinator on the day and make an appropriate donation.
Insurance
All members are covered under the Shed’s public liability insurance. Please read the Insurance Policy and FAQ documents before using the facilities. Copies are always available at the Shed.
